Paul Saers has been working in this field for over twenty-five years and has spoken on performance and efficiency subjects at conferences all over the world.

Paul has achieved some remarkable results in the IBM mainframe area where the major hardware and software companies have failed. Most work has been done in the tuning area as well as getting CPU-soakers out of the system. The result has been shorter response times, faster turnarounds, reduced CPU and/or higher capacity.
These may well result in a client being able to delay a hardware upgrade, providing real and significant savings. An in-depth assembler expertise and an engineering degree in telecommunications help significantly when trying to find and explain these kind of problems.
